How the estimate is worked out
The calculator starts from your home size and adds distance, stairs, packing and heavy items. It cannot see your furniture, which is why every estimate is a range and every price is fixed only after a survey.

What moves a price up or down

Lift slots in high-rise societies, stairs where there is no lift, and how far the truck can park from the door all change the hours the crew spends on your move.
When you move
Month-end dates and the wedding season book up first, and trucks cost more when demand peaks. Booking two to three weeks ahead gives you the widest choice of dates.
